First of all we would like to tell all our clients how grateful we are for all these beautiful moments we had together at the restaurant.
In 4 years, many things have happened. Some of you saw us starting our business and our family; some of you have heard about us just now for the first time.
Becoming parents has changed us and today we need to see our business evolve, to have new challenges, and have time for Laurent (3yo) and Baptiste (1yo), our little boys.
We have been thinking about our new project for some time and now we are ready for this new adventure:
From Monday 2nd January 2023, the restaurant will be open for lunch only from Monday to Friday. The evening will now be reserved for Nicolas as private chef in-house and any type of privatization of the restaurant. We will do takeaways again and organize cooking classes (at home to start). This new challenge is a great opportunity for us to diversify ourselves; this is a big motivation we are so excited!
All the affection we have for you all encourages us to do what is best for our family.
We cannot wait to see you very soon to discuss more about this new project with a nice meal.
Sincerely yours,
Margaux & Nicolas
Partners in life (visit us at the restaurant, we’ll tell you all about our story!) Nicolas and I also share the same passion for our crafts. Settling in the Luberon was a trigger. Rich with its stunning landscapes, diverse agriculture, and wine terroir, the region took our breath away. We instantly knew it was the right time and right place. It reminded us so much of New Zeland.
We have this dream of creating a memorable experience for our guests, unforgettable moments to savor good food, indulge, and share with loved ones.
Nicolas and cookery, a lifelong love affair!
Nicolas grew up helping his granddad in the family’s vegetable garden. From collecting fruits, vegetables and herbs, he would then step in his granny’s kitchen to help with the cooking, learning the art of Nicoise and Maltese cuisine in her lovely copper pots.
Mixing Mediterranean and international flavors, Nicolas’s cuisine is sun ripe, fragrant and delicious.
His motto: Use locally sourced fresh ethical produce of the day and season.
In the heart of the village of Coustellet, just down the street from the famous Marché Paysan (April through October), come and visit our place, first time around or not. Our cozy setup features 4 tables including a “Table d’hôte” for sharing with friends new and old.
Each day, our slate-offering display brings out Nicolas’s entirely homemade seasonal inspirations.
